The JMD-700 Tankless Direct RO system uses a high capacity Reverse Osmosis Membrane (625 Gallons per Day) and a dual pumpto increase the recovery ratio and create a high enough product flow to eliminate the need for a tank.

Typical RO systems operate in the range of 25% recovery. This means that you are sending 3 glasses of water to the drain for every 1 glass that you drink.

The JMD-700 system operates at a minimum 50% recovery and as high as 75% in low TDS areas. At 75% recovery, you are getting 3 glasses of water while only sending one glass to the drain.

In typical residential reverse osmosis systems the product water flow from the membrane is very slow and to holding tank is required to store your drinking water until you are ready to drink it.

For example, a 50GPD system will take nearly 4 minutes to fill a water glass. This is why the holding tank is necessary to collect and store filtered water. With the JMD-700 Direct RO the product water flow is 1.5L/min. A 500ml glass will be filled in less than 20 seconds.

The JMD-700 Tankless RO is an ¡®on demand¡¯ system. It is only working and using electricity when you are dispensing water. Considering the 50GPD system again, in order to make the typical 10L of water you use each day, the 50GPD system has to operate for 75 minutes. The JMD-700 will provide 10L of drinking water in 8 minutes.
